Sandeep Khanna

Sandeep is the dedicated Founder and Principal Dentist of Thornhill Dental Practice, proudly serving the Southampton community for over three decades.


Qualifying with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in London in 1991, Sandeep has focused on building a friendly practice where patients feel understood and comfortable. He is well-regarded for his gentle, caring approach and commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive NHS and private dental care.


Outside of the surgery, Sandeep’s dedication to discipline and wellness is evident in his interests in karate and keeping fit. This same focus and energy he applies to his physical activities are integral to how he approaches personalized patient care every day.

Bettina Runge

Bettina is one of our valued full-time Associate Dentists, bringing two decades of international experience and clinical excellence to the Thornhill Dental Practice team.


Bettina qualified as a Dentist (Zahnarzt) in Munich in 2002 and has since dedicated her career to providing compassionate and high-quality general dentistry. She is committed to helping our patients maintain excellent oral health through preventative care and tailored treatment plans.


Patients appreciate Bettina’s thoroughness and her calm, professional approach, which helps ensure a relaxed experience during every appointment.

Mr. Parimal Manek

FDSRCS LDSRCS BM - Specialist Oral Surgeon, GDC 62057

Parimal is our highly experienced and respected Oral Surgeon, providing advanced surgical care to patients referred by both internal and external dental practices.


With extensive qualifications, including his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FDSRCS), Mr. Manek focuses on complex procedures such as tooth extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and other dentoalveolar surgeries. He is committed to ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of specialized care in a comfortable and reassuring environment.


Patients referred to Mr. Manek benefit from his expertise and the gentle, communicative approach he takes to all surgical treatments, helping to ease any anxiety associated with complex procedures. Mr. Manek is ably supported by his trusted dental nursing assistant, Gill Hillier, who ensures every surgical session runs seamlessly.
